Emily + Lucas were originally planning a 250 person wedding at a venue in Kalispell, but Emily quickly changed her mind to an Elopement after the chaos of wedding planning. She asked if we could spend an evening at the Ibex Cabin in the Crazies, and exchange vows with just their best friends…that was a quick and obvious hell yes from me.

Being late September, we got some moody fall Montana weather that day with lots of rain and fog. When we arrived at the cabin, Lucas and Emily got ready by flashlight + wrote their vows by iPhone light. By the time we were ready for the ceremony, the fog started to clear just enough to get the view Emily had dreamed of…and the boys too apparently as they immediately started scouting the side of the mountain for elk.
