Marybeth + Dante’s Engagement Session on the Range

Looking for the most ‘Montana’ spot for your Engagement Photos? Nestled in the Mission Valley, is the National Bison Range is about 50 miles from Missoula, and has stunning Rugged peaks, prairie lands, and plenty of wildlife to view during your session.

DISCLAIMER***** No wildlife was approached during this session, or any sessions. Photographs with Bison in the back were taken with a long lens, with a valley separating us. The respect of wildlife and safety of my clients has and always will be my first priority.

Marybeth + Dante wanted a very Montana feel for their engagement photos, and said they were down for anything. I told them about the Bison Range, and asked if they would be down to meet just before sunrise (the best time to shoot in the Mission Valley) and they were stoked!

This is the perfect location for a Western-Boho feel, with the wide open fields, and perfect Mountain View. I would recommend shooting at the end of September/beginning of October for a sunrise session, and the best shot at seeing wildlife ( for your clients to get the full experience).
